Automaker Incentive Spending Falls in October

Edmunds.com reports average car maker incentive spending fell in October.

With most 2007's gone, rebates fell $162 from the previous month. Cash-back is down $89 year-over-year.

Combined customer and dealer incentives for October averaged;

  • Detroit-3 $3145
  • European makes $2042
  • Korean cars $1500
  • Japanese brands $1045
