GM Crossovers Are selling Well General Motors Lambda-platform triplet crossovers -- Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook -- continue to sell well. Drawing more customers than ever away from Asian rivals, they helped GM to an August share increase in the very tough 2007 motor vehicle sales climate. Historically, 2/3 of GM sales go to buyers trading-in GM vehicles. GM was preachin' to the choir. But JD Power says 20% of these Lambda customers came from Asian brands. Crossover buyers look for space, interior amenities, and competitive price. A Chevy version of the crossover is coming. Will it draw sales from the other three, or from competitors? Dealers have low inventories; Enclave 22 days, Acadia 32 days, Outlook 51 days. Typically GM cars have at least a 70-day supply. There will be no incentives on these hot models for quite a while: sellers market. Done GM Crossovers, Buick Enclave, Saturn Outlook, GMC Acadia, return to News-Blog
