Owner

Paret was born in Cuba around 1960, just after the Castro communist revolution. His family fled communist rule, arriving in New York City with just their clothes.

After working his way through college, Mr. Paret rose quickly in the car business. He purchased a bankrupt Ford store and turned it around. An early proponent of the one-price-no-haggle dealership model, Mr. Paret sold the Ford franchise to Sonic Automotive Group in 1998, but remained as vice president and general manager.

By 2003 Mr. Paret was ready to return to a family dealership model, and purchased Baytown Pontiac GMC Buick, now Casa Pontiac GMC Buick.

He also owns Texan Pontiac GMC Buick in Humble, Texas.

Mr. Paret’s dealerships support their communities. His credits include; First Baptist Academy, Humble Civic Center, the Baytown Rotary Club, and the Houston Golf Association.

Sponsorships include Festival de la Cosecha, a music festival and carnival for United Way of Baytown.

Charity golf tournaments including Birdies for Charity are a Casa Buick favorite.

Casa also sponsors Baytown Sun's Newspapers in Education program, which provides newspapers to local school classrooms.
