Don A. Buckalew is a graduate of Baylor University who spent his adult life in the Conroe area building the family-owned Chevy dealership.

Don’s son "Donnie" Buckalew is now General Manager, and has taken over the dealership's day to day operations.

Donnie'a brother Denny Buckalew is also involved with the Chevrolet franchise.

The Buckalew family are active contributors to the local community.

Donnie is 2007 Chairman of the Houston Automobile Dealers Association.

Donnie has been President of the Montgomery County Community Foundation, which does charity and scholorship grants. He served with the Greater Conroe Economic Development Council.

He is chairman of the Conroe Industrial Development Corporationan, an economic development board, currently involved with attracting industry to the Conroe area.

Mr. Buckalew is a director of the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce, and of the Conroe Lions Cub.

Buckalews is a sponsor of Eye Care for Kids.

On July 4th the Buckalew dealership co-sponsors the Woodland's Red, Hot and Blue Festival and Fireworks.

Donnie Buckalew is active in the Montgomery County Fair Association.

The Conroe Chevrolet dealer is a Baylor Bears backer, sponsoring Baylor football radio broadcasts.
